Learning Outcome 2

As I integrated my source the first step to succeeding is to make sure the quote lines up with the thesis if not then make sure to edit your thesis to your likings. After introducing a source to my paper I would first come up with a way to make this source was interesting to the reader but factual for my essay. Before placing my support I would reference from TS/IS for contextual help or help integrating. Such as when using a quote from a snippet that you annotated like David Foster Wallace where he talked about the lobster being boiled alive or Hal Herzog talking about the excess meat that goes to waist because humans can even fathom the fact of using kittens as a source of feeding their animals. After integrating the quotes I would elaborate on the fact of how this helps support my essay but also make sure that it ties the section back  towards my thesis because I don’t want the quote to look out of place. We want the quotes to be made apart of the paragraph, they should flow like the wind on a nice hot sunny day. Which will cool the reader down and answer all the question to why I would use that quote as a significant part of the essay. During the semester I learned that their was better ways of integrating those quotes then how I was in the beginning of the school year. Being able to peer review and have the professor help with this process made it a lot easier for me to become a stronger writer.
